Goodvibes Crystal Salt Lamps are
handcrafted from crystal salt as old as 260 million years found at depths of
700 to 1,100 metres in the foothills of the majestic Himalayan Mountains. The
crystals are mined by traditional methods without the use of explosives,
thereby preserving its biophysical quality.
A crystal salt
lamp will enliven any space. It creates a soothing ambience with its warm glow
and earthy vibrations. In its natural state, crystal salt vibrates with the
planetÕs natural frequency of 7.83hz, commonly referred to as the Shuman
Resonance Frequency. When used in modern day environments, crystal salt lamp neutralizes

THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE BUYING A LAMP
Can I use the lamp outdoors? No.
As salt is hygroscopic (the ability to naturally absorb moisture from the air),
crystal salt lamps and candleholders should not be placed outdoors and should
be kept away from dampness and moisture.
Do I need spare parts? You
only have to change the bulb when it blows. Remember to ask for an E14 bulb.
They are commonly available in 15W rating, but you can also get small E14 at
7.5W. Large candle E14 bulbs (for big lamps) are available at 25W, 40W and 60W
power rating. Note: in order to minimise bulbs blowing prematurely, regularly
check that the bulb is firmly fitted to the holder.
How long would the lamp last? With proper use and care, crystal salt lamps will last even a lifetime. However, as salt will dissolve readily with water, wiping lamps with wet cloth, leaving lamps outdoors, or exposing the lamps to water and moisture will shorten the lifespan of the lamp considerably as the salt crystals will dissolve and the lamp decrease in size.
How long do I need to keep the lamp switched on? It is recommended that the lamp remain lit for a few hours every day to keep it dry because crystal salts attract moisture. However, leaving the lamp on for as long as possible will allow it to perform its purifying function. Crystal Salt lamps do not consume much electricity. Note: in southeast Asian countries, where humidity is high, it is recommended that the lamps be switched on continuously as the high moisture content in the air will result in moisture accumulating on the lamp surface, dissolving the salt and water accumulating at the base. If you intend to switch off the lamp for long duration (e.g. going on holiday), it is recommended that you wrap the lamp with a plastic bag to avoid moisture coming into contact with the salt.
Does the size of the lamp matter? Yes. The bigger the lamp, the more powerful its cleansing and harmonizing effects. Large lamps or several smaller lamps are needed for large areas. Below is guide for size of lamps and their effective ionizing range.
